Getting the Right-Click menu to appear on the SMART Board
SMART Board users do not need to use the Right-Click button on the SMART Board to bring up the Right-Click menu. Instead, if you hold your finger down on the SMART Board for three seconds, the right-click menu will appear at that location.
Since you do not need to use the Right-Click button on the SMART Board to access the Right-Click menu, you can set that button to perform other functions like clearing the screen, printing the screen, or accessing the Smart Screen Capture Tool. If you want to change what happens when you press the Right-Click button on the SMART Board, just go to the SMART Board Control Panel, click on SMART Hardware Settings, select Pen and Buttons Settings from the drop-down menu, and then click on the mouse/keyboard icon.

If you experience problems opening the Notebook files, make sure you Save the file instead of Opening the file. If the file extension gets changed to <.zip> after you save the file, rename the file so the extension is <.notebook> and you should then be able to open the file using Smart Notebook. Switching to the Firefox browser may also help.
