Notebook Challenges is a special type of PD offering where educators are challenged to complete a short activity in Smart Notebook on their own using their current knowledge of Notebook.

In this Notebook Challenge, participants will create an application in Notebook where students touch the glass to make the boy drink the orange juice which reveals a word while making a slurping noise. (See video introduction in section one.)
This course utilizes important features of Notebook to achieve the desired effect. Two objects (the image of the boy and the slurping sound effect file) will be provided; all other objects will be created using the tools found in the standard Notebook Toolbar.Professional Development Credit: 45 Minutes

The objective of this challenge is to make an object appear on the screen by touching on an external object. In this challenge course, participants are challenged to make an image appear on the screen by touching a "hint" button. Using the same technique, they are also challenged to make the correct answer appear by touching on the "Check Answers" button.
