This course will guide participants through the process of creating an application that reveals information by sliding an object on the page. This technique can be used in a number of different ways to increase engagement and interaction with the information being displayed on the SMART Board.

This course utilizes important features of Notebook to achieve the desired effect. Teachers will learn to use simple color blending and grouping techniques to create dramatic effects. They will also learn how to customize the Notebook Toolbar, save pages to the Gallery, and resize objects at the same time. This course contains 12 short video tutorials and is divided into four sections that will guide the user through the entire process of building a custom student picker.

Participants will also learn/reinforce their skills in adding and modifying shape objects, selecting objects, grouping objects, ordering objects, locking objects, and changing page backgrounds.
